"You Can't Take Him Away," Heaton's first political song is now featured on an EP released by Q Division Records. "This is essentially my open letter to the religious right," Heaton says. "It is written for people who feel they have lost their religion to the most extreme elements within their churches. It's for anyone who has felt spiritually left out."

The EP entitled I KNOW THIS also includes live tracks from shows recorded at The Tin Angel in Philadelphia and at The Cedar in Minneapolis as well as radio edits of "Underdog" and "Your Heart" from Heaton's release GIVE IN.
