Dr. Kathy Reilly Fallon is a Board Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon in New York City, New York. She is Co-Founder and Chairwoman of the Heavenly Productions Foundation, whose mission is to help children in distress.
Kathy sang on the CD entitled "Heavenly Lullabies" which is dedicated to the Babies & Orphans of 9-11-01. All net proceeds from this CD go to the Twin Towers Orphan Fund. "Heavenly Skies & Lullabies" book & CD is the Foundation's second project to help children in need. Besides enjoying her work as a Doctor and publishing medical articles, she loves to sing and spend time with her family and friends. She is a member of The Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators and the International Woman's Writers Guild.

Frank Pellegrino is best known as the proprietor of Rao's Restaurant in New York City, New York. He currently appears on the HBO hit series, The Sopranos. He also appeared in award winning films snd television series including Goodfella's, Mickey Blue Eyes, and Woody Allen's Manhattan Murder Mystery and New York Undercover. Frank has also published two Italian cookbooks, Rao's Cookbook (Random House) and Rao's Cooks From the Neighborhood (St. Martin's Press). www.raos.com

Foreword by:
Father Gerard Critch was ordained on August 11, 1989 for the Diocese of St.John's-Basseterre, West Indies. He served as Diocesan Vocation Director, President of Diocesan Priests' Council, Diocesan Youth Director and Chaplain of Leeward Island Apostleship of the Sea (Tourism and Migrants). After Hurricane Hugo ravaged the Colony of Monserrat, W.I., he was sent there for three years to help in restoration ministry. Following this, he was appointed pastor of Tyrells, Antigua in 1992 for a period of six years. Father Critch came to New York for a sabbatical after his ministry in Antigua. He served as Parochial Vicar at St. John the Baptist Church in Yonkers, N.Y. In January of 2000, he was then appointed by Bishop Nevins to Sacred Heart Church in Bradenton, Florida. Father Critch was then incardinated into the Diocese of Venice on January 6, 2003and was transferred to St. Thomas More in Sarasota, Florida. www.sttmore.org

Dr. Kathy Fallon, a foot and ankle surgeon with a social conscience, has created a charitable opportunity to raise funds for the child victims of Hurricane Katrina. Dr. Fallon is a Board Certified foot and ankle specialist in New York City. She has previously published a recording, Heavenly Lullabies, to benefit babies and orphans of September 11, 2001. Proceeds of this CD go to the Twin Towers Orphan Fund. Working with Dr. Fallon on Heavenly Skies & Lullabies were actor/restaurateur, Frank Pellegrino, a star of The Sopranos and proprietor of Rao’s Restaurant, the renowned, tiny Harlem restaurant, where Hollywood stars reserve one year in advance. Mr. Pellegrino has appeared in films by Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese, and he has published two popular Italian gourmet cookbooks, that coincide with his private line of quality food products. Canadian-born Father Gerard Critch served three years in the West Indies, to assist victims of Hurricane Hugo, and six years in ministry in Antigua. He has also served in numerous Dioceses, including New York and Florida.
This illustrated song book, another philanthropic venture of the Fallons and friends, has some of the most exquisite color drawings, by Becky Kelly, designed to enchant both children and adults alike. With eleven delightful songs and lullabies, some renowned, such as Rock-a-Bye, Baby and Hush Little Baby, and some lesser known, such as Cradle Song and Golden Slumbers, children and guardians can follow along, page by page, verse by verse, and sing, hum, or listen to richly recorded renditions. Dr. Kathy Fallon has a professionally vocal quality, nurturing and comforting, in clear, precise lyrics. Frank Pellegrino, film star of Goodfellas and Manhattan Murder Mystery, restaurateur, and actor in The Sopranos, must be heard in his excellent performance as narrator of Spoken Prayer, in tandem with Dr. Fallon, and as vocalist in Little Man, You’ve Had a Busy Day. He speaks and sings with strong, soothing sensuality and persuasive persona.
The musicians, on piano, flute, and wind control, sometimes combine with either or both vocalists in ensemble effects. There is true musicianship here, as well as theatrical entertainment. This book/cd would be an excellent addition to every Day Care Center, Nursery School, and even Kindergarten classroom, in addition to children’s libraries. Each illustration is accompanied by a boxed “blessing”, such as “Starry angels, moonlit beams, light the way, to happy dreams”. There is a lot of love in this project, and the proceeds could not be for a better cause.

The illustrations in the songbook are beautiful, as is Kathleen's voice. I bought two books- one for my children, and one to donate to my daughter's daycare center, The Seed, in Yorktown Heights, NY. The children at The Seed Daycare enjoy listening to the cd daily at naptime, and my daughter, Grace, requests this cd often at home. My older daughter, Claire, enjoys trying to play the sheet music on her harp and cello. A must have for expecting and new parents.
