Wisdom Teeth on Bended Knee, Heidi's debut album, is a collection of songs conjured, written and recorded over the past three years. Having worked almost completely by herself shaping, texturing and polishing the record, she's become a master at the recording process. There is a whole galaxy of ambience below the surface of the songs in the form of literal bells and whistles, synthesizer drones, talk radio stations, cutlery jangles, and a perpetual breeze of harmonies, all of which coalesce and comply with the indelible folk influences in which Heidi is rooted. While most of the work was performed and arranged solely by Heidi, she's also had the pleasure of collaborating with a few talented artists along the way, most of whom are local New York musicians. She's been able to join forces in a telecommute fashion as well, with the likes of G.Room, a French electronic musician and engineer. His work is featured on the track 'Content'.
