Album Notes

"As good, but creating a slightly different mood, is Plain sailing from Heikatsu. the vocalist here is up and coming Brit chanteuse Sarah Weller who's making quite a name for herself in the more discerning jazz clubs of the capital.
Watch out for more from the sultry sounding lady later this year." - Bill Buckley / Blues & Soul March 20,2002.

".thereare also some tasty vocals - the refreshingly natural voice of Sarh Weller on Plain Sailing - Sarah Cropper / HMV choice

Formed out of an idea for a soulful / smooth jazz sound
Simon Golding and Paul Mundy got together and created HEIKATSU(which is Japanese for smooth ). Having created dance and chilled
out music they wanted to stretch their creative wings and move onto
something more instrumental.

Noticing that the majority of the smooth sound came from the US they wanted to try something with a UK slant and
TAKE ME AWAY was born with the help of Urban Dwellers
singer Sarah Weller on the vocal numbers. With jazzfm creating
a smooth jazz market they thought it was time to try and get
the album released.
