Album Notes

Brently Heilbron is an amazing comedic writer, creator, performer and talent. The Texas native was voted Austin’s Best Stand-up and described by the Austin Chronicle as “one of the most prolific and inventive comics anywhere.”

Brently has been honing his craft in clubs since the age of 14! He has opened for such diverse acts as Daniel Johnston, Rudy Ray “Dolemite” Moore and MiniKiss. He has produced and directed cult hits including THE RICHARD SIMMONS MYSTERIES and HOORAY FOR GREGORY PECK’S ASS, both of which received glowing reviews and sold out houses following tours between New York and Los Angeles. Brently has become a staple at the HBO and Comedy Central Workspaces for new material.

His debut CD PHANTOM PARADE OF LOVE, is a thought provoking, hilarious ride through the new era of show biz animals, animatronic entertainers, and an all-out battle royal with the melon-smashing ghost of comedy past.

He continues to expand his growing fan base through his weekly charity auctions at Amoeba Music in Hollywood where he has helped raise over $150,000 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. In addition, Brently made his television debut last season on SIGNIFICANT OTHERS, an improv-based
show for Bravo and NBC Studios. Currently he can be seen on Comedy Central’s MOTHERLODE. It’s a new era in comedy and Brently according to the LA Weekly, is “leading the parade!”
