notes
The life and Sounds of the new millenium come crashing into those of the fifties in this Modern Rockabilly trio.
Coming from a state known for its tie-dyed bands, Colorado's Hillbilly Hellcats tell stories of skateboards and hippies as well as white trash, whiskey, road rage and trailer parks.
The guest drumming of Taz Bentley, ex Rev. Horton Heat, is heard on this CD.

Buy it. Play it. Love it.
author: Tio PabloLightning guitar, relentless bass, pile-driving drums, and a trainload of attitude. This is what rockabilly is all about. And hey, where else are you gonna find a wicked-bad slide romp all about a Jack Chick religious tract?

Fantastic Hard Rockin' KillBilly!
author: MoegreenThese guys no how to burn a house down! Great musicians and great recording. Great engineering on this too, they know how to mic drums! A must buy for any collection, Turn It Up!
Great !
author: DenisReally inspired, a CD did not leave to pass if one likes the Stray cats or the Reverend Horton Heat. Very good musicians, good melody, original composition. When the next album?
Rollicking toe-tappin' fun
author: Bill HillyAn album that starts with "Hillbillies on Speed" and ends with "I Hate Music". How could this possibly be anything but a riotously enjoyable experience? Buy this album, turn up the volume, and dance your heart out. Just don't do the Hippy Dance!
IT ROCKS!!!
author: YumiYou can feel the high energy from this CD and it makes you forget all your troubles. Great musicianship and diversity of songs keep it interesting. THE DARK SIDE is very haunting and WHITE TRASH DIALOGUE is hilarious especially if you listened to it right after WHITE TRASH. The lyrics are raw and real and I feel that there's a messsage...it's not just about white trash, drinking, etc. You don't have to be a white trash to relate to these songs.
