Album Notes

Sonya Heller writes "Music for the masses that gets real personal." A streetsmart soothsayer with ruby red lips and a voice too good to be true. Road worn jeans, her trusty old Martin in hand. Onstage, her life is your life... how DOES she make the sad part sound so good?

“Sonya Heller takes her place alongside the great female voices of the Folk and Jazz world.”—Crossroads Magazine

Incredible voice that takes you on a journey!
author: Nancy Nickle, Catz Go Round Records
This was my first introduction to Sonya's music. Throughout the CD I thought that I was listening to Laura Nyro (great singer-songwriter from the late 1960's). Sonya's voice is beautiful and it takes you on a journey throughout the CD. Women when you are wanting time alone, this is the CD to put on and relax. It is music that will help take you to your inner being. What a blessing for me, that I have found someone with the great beauty in her voice like Laura Nyro!
