Libido: The psychic and emotional energy associated with instinctual biological drives.

Hello Libido spawns from the collaborative efforts of its four initial members: Jack Mandarano (bass), Carl Gagnon (guitar), George Stathakis (guitar), and Luca Caracciolo (drums). These lads have been plugging away for almost two years, all the while creating various innovative songs and melodies. During auditions for a lead vocalist, the group stumbled across Vince Benenati, who proved to be the proverbial missing link. In Vince, the band found a talented entertainer who could surely satiate any crowd. Vince, who is known for his success in 2005 with the hit series “Canadian Idol,” was the final member to join…..and so begins the sexy journey that is Hello Libido.

What’s Up?

The band has sold out shows at Club 279, The Mod Club and Jeff Healey’s Roadhouse. They were also finalists in 97.7htzfm’s Rock Search 2007. Hello Libido thrives on the thrill of a live performance, and they are eager to share their music with the world. The boys have recently released their self titled debut album and are currently in the studios preparing for the release of a 2nd album.

So what?

The band does not want to reinvent the wheel….they just want to freakin’ pimp it out with crazy-ass rims sure to make your head spin. In other words, they are simply offering the world their own brand of that good old fashioned rock and roll. The boys confess that they would ‘love to be that band playing in the background of your daddy’s Ford just as you are about to lose your virginity.’ Is that to much to ask for?
