fantastic

Hello Tokyo is music for people. It's music that is just plain good. Kat's voice projects the kind of heartfelt honesty that is so key in a good lead singer. I have seen this band many times live and I can tell you they are the real deal. They are all around fantastic musicians who really care about the crowd enjoying their music as much as they do.

Mature and seasoned music from a bands Freshman album!
author: Adrenalin Crew
Just when hearing the opening line of Rain or Shine you can grasp the overall feel of the strong emotions and depth of this group. Let me just admit i do not usually even listen to music that doesnt let me bang my head till it bleeds, but this album actually has power to trap you into a trance of rythm and voice. Unless your a tree frog this album has something for you!

hope for the future!
author: Jenell
In a musical ecocosom of over-produced, no-talent artists, this CD is hope for the future! The vocals are powerful, emotional, and beautiful. The band is mood conscious and tight. I just love this CD. I have no talent for CD reviewing. But hey, check out this CD. it's the goods.

Sultry Sounds

I stumbled upon Hello Tokyo in a club in DC. I was there to see my sister's boyfriend's brother's band. Got that? Either way, I was blown away by Hello Tokyo's singer. She has a voice that can overpower and upstage most bands. However, the group behind her is excellent and manages to keep up. The combo makes Hello Tokyo one of the best bands to come out of DC. Buy the CD and then go see them live. You won't be dissapointed.
