Helmet Of Gnats? Well, who cares? They’re DAMN good!

This is a very special and very good CD. As author: Lee Montagna wrote:” There's something here for everyone”. They are no less than awesome musicians, and the sound/production is good too. Progrock, fusion or jazz, it’s all elements of it here! 5 stars and thumbs up, this is really worth to add to your collection! Truly amazing!

It's kind of rare that you find o group with a so significant voice of thir own - you can allways try to trace some Mclaughlin, Gong, Holdsworth .... but why, their name is Helmet of Gnags, and they are just awesome .

Old school prog with a touch of freshness...
author: Lee Montagna
Definitely prog rock, but not just more of the same. There's something here for everyone. Hints of Holdsworth, Happy the Man, Liquid Tension Experiment, and Chick Corea's Elektric Band sprinkled throughout, as well as their own sound. Each song has a different feel.
"Yesterday's Brain" is an especially nice Dream-Theateresque jam, while "Crumbs" is a Holdsworthian drift down the soundscape river. The experimental/trippy song "Lesser Beings" showcases their own unique style. I wholeheartedly recomment this cd.
