jon hemmersam has worked as a guitarist/composer
for the last 25 years, mainly in the jazz/fusion-field.
He is well known among his peers, as a highly accomplished
guitarist and composer.Jon has his own universe of music,
which he created form working with musicians from all over the world, and collecting all these impressions into his
playing and compositions.His recent cd was done(for the
part of the first 6 songs), with no rehearsels, as he wanted it as fresh as possible.So everything you here there, is
first takes.As for the last 3 songs, you have a presentation
of more intimate compositions, more like chamber-music.
There are 2 different line-ups on the cd.For the first 6 pieces
it is Guit.(el.), piano/organ, electric bass and drums.
For the last part of the cd(track 7,8 and 9), you have 2 acoustic guitars plus soprano-saophone.
On this cd you will find a great mixture of music, ranging
from laid-back compositions with strong soloing, to powerful
tunes with organ/guit. interaction ( on the 7/4 blow-out "Septico").This cd contains food for your heart, soul and body.So please enjoy!
