Beautiful Irish melodies together with the rich, lush sound of the marimba. It's a match made in heaven. Listen to jigs & reels as you've never heard them before, and then relax to the gorgeous sound harp tunes arranged delightflly for three marimbas.

Paul Henle studied percussion with James Preiss at the Manhattan School of Music and was a founding member of the Manhattan Marimba Quartet. At the same time he was studying classical percussion, he was pursuing his interest in traditional Irish music, playing bodhran and bones at sessions around the city. He wrote his arrangements of O?Carolan?s harp pieces for the MMQ in the mid eighties. Paul plays with the Scottish dance band Tullochgorum, and with the Irish traditional band Odd Men Out.
This recording is the culmination of Paul's love of the marimba and Irish music. Together with his exquisite touch for percussion, he has created a rich musical sensation that has quickly caught on with listeners.

Golden Keyboard
author: Victoria Daniel
Loved the energy of your music. I am a percussionist and would like to acquire your arrangement of the Golden Keyboard. I purchased the cd and a gave my graduating student the cd also. An organist/pianist friend listened to the piece and wants to play this on a recital July 16. She just returned from a trip to Ireland. If to soon, possibly later in the summer.
I would appreciate a response.
Sincerely, Victoria Daniel
