Henri Cross spent his childhood on the island of Bermuda and grew up in Rhode Island, and New York, USA.
Encouraged at an early age to learn the violin, Henri went on to master the guitar.
He has performed with such greats as Jazz guitarist, Ray Crawford, and the renowned Michael Jackson collaborator, John Barnes.
He has formed a number of groups that performed the music that he arranged or composed.
Henri's music reflects his conviction that 'the earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens', which is a fundamental principal of the Bahá'í Faith, a movement that he is deeply committed to.
Henri has a simple philosophy; "We have to make our short time on this earth count by making the world a better place.
HOW?
By being true to our Self, using our gifts to the fullest degree of our capacity, to promote the interests of the entire human race...,In other words, be of service to the world."
Henri's travels have taken him to Rome, Paris, Montreal, Bora-Bora, Caracas, St.Georges, Maui, London, Haifa, Quito, Whistler, Cancun, Valencia, Moorea, Otavalo, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Cozumel, Honolulu, Netanya, Dover, Barquesimeto, Tahiti, St.David's, Dunkerque, etc.
People everywhere have inspired him, and his music reflects that influence.
A busy father of FIVE children, Henri lives with his wife Zhalih in Portland, Oregon.
