Album Notes

1960-Portstewart Co. Derry-Saturday evening. A young lad(17 years old), armed with a heavy name(Henry Campbell Liken McCullough), a light 'tuck box' (a few slices of Ormeau loaf filled with love and understanding and very little else), and three chords - waiting for The Skyrockets Showband tour bus to pick me up for the first stage of the musical odyssey.

First stop, Enniskillen, co. Fermanagh, where I spent many a happy year. Boy, did I love it! I quickly learned a few more chords.

Endless gigs, six nights a week. Beatles, Stones-long hair, no uniform...the best music education a man could have had.

Eire apparent bade the leaving of Ireland. Tours with Hendrix, etc...

Little did I know what the future held...Joe Cocker, Woodstock, Paul McCartney's Wings...!

I've "lived" some of the greatest moments in rock history- I was there!

The stories I could tell...

Unfinished Business
author: Matt Giarrizzo
Henry McCullough is one of the best guitarists in the world. Just ask Joe Cocker, Paul McCartney or Frankie Miller and they\'ll tell you the same. This is a terrific recording, and the last track, Failed Christian, is worth the price of the cd. Nick Lowe covered the song, but Henry\'s original outshines it by miles. Buy this record now!
