The word "Cantata" comes from the Italian verb "cantare"-to sing. There is no greater joy than opening your mouth and allowing music to flow forth; Singing is a spiritual thing, allowing performers and listeners to share an expression of emotion that transcends the spoken word, melody and harmony. I hope that you embrace singing as a part of your life."

Peace,
Henry

REVIEWS

John Carter's Cantata is a knockout
author: Dobbs Franks
It's great to have a CD with such an interesting and varied program. For me the climax and peak of excitement was hearing these terrific artists perform John Carter's Cantata. This is one of the best treatments of spirituals I know and it is wonderful to have it on record particularly with the glorious sounds of Henry Pleas and the great piano playing of a very difficult piece by Rachel Jensen. More please.
