ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
'This One's For Elliott...' is the 2006 debut album from young acoustic musician Henry Willard.

Built around acoustic guitar and light doubled-up vocals, the organic production on the album ensures a distinct 'home feel' to all 10 songs, but also allows room for the emotion in Willard's lyrics to break through.

Arrangements vary from a single-acoustic guitar & vocals, to multi-layered acoustic guitar parts alongside mandolin, harmonica, & piano, amongst other instruments.

Henry Willard is a lyric-driven solo-acoustic performer from South-East England, UK, who from the start has set out to bring his listeners beautiful, deep, & meaningful music & lyrics that connect with people of all different backgrounds & lifestyles.
His soft vocals that can be found on tracks such as 'Remember Me Always, My Darling Girl' & 'Realist', draw in the listener & paint a picturesque, vivid, & naturally touching portrait in the mind, capturing the heart of everyone who engages in the emotion portrayed.

With very few well known examples to go by, Henry's intentions for the album were to write & record an entire collection of slow, alluring & charming songs for the listener to resort to when in need of another voice by their side.

An array of personal & heartfelt emotions inspired by a wide range of affairs throughout Henry's life, have ultimately created 10 incredible & distinct tracks that can be easily recognized as the fast progressing talent that is Henry Willard.

'This One's For Elliott...' is an album you will undoubtedly be able to feel one with when searching for another voice to offer hope, love, & understanding in every day life.
