A Great Blues/Rock album by a great Blues/Rock Band.
South Florida's award-winning band's debut. Led by Lead Guitarist Joel Dasilva, The Boo Daddies incorperates Blues,Rock,Surf & Rockabilly into their own brand of rockin Blues Rock. The album kicks off w/Death Trap, a rockin' Blues/Rock tune that sets the pace of the album. Lee Rocker's I Got My Mind on you is the second tune.
6 Feet, a Hendrix-type Rocker w/rippin'guitar by Dasilva.
Dan Dan(The fire man)is a Secret Agent Man type SurfBlues song is an instrumental song w/great leads by Dasilva.
Too Damn Cold is a raucous, yet soulful slow BluesRocker featuring great soulful solo's and vocals by mr.Dasilva & great B-3 by special guest Joe Saint. The Boo Daddies also cover the Smithereens' "Blood and Roses" which showcases the band's talents. The album closes w/Double Surf a rockin'
SurfBlues Song. Check this album out. I highly recommend it.

This band still cooks
This CD rips the same way the Boo Dads have from the days at the Poorhouse. So much talent in such a small band.Sean Gerovitz busy bass line is punctuated by the hell fire guitar of Joel DaSilva while Randy Blitz blasts the rythym as only he can. They are not getting older, they are getting better. They do South Florida proud.

Excellent blend of power blue and good ole rock'n'roll
Excellent blend of power blues and good ole rock'n'roll!!! I was unfamiliar with the band until I heard "Red Hot" over the internet. I heard it... bought the cd and am glad I did. The Hep Cat Boo Daddies have a hard driving power blues sound with a tasty blend of some classic 50s rock'n'roll riffs (but louder).

excellent cd! Hot, heavy guitar.
Saw these guys at Culture Room, Lauderdale. Super bar band. Looked all over for the cd and finally found it at cd baby. Cross of SRV, Jimi, surf, blues and smokin guitar work. Outstanding driving music! All tracks are very good. Highly recomend, Daddy-o.

The guitar player is un-believable, and the band ROCKS!!
Out of all of the band's in the world , this band needs to be on top!
You will not be disappointed!
"Too Damn Old" is some of the most inspired guitar playing I've heard in a very long time.

Real talent great CD
I am 50 and the only music I own is by artists that have the ability to make it happen. You can't sit still and listen to their music, if you can chances are you're dead. Great CD.

Tony DePew
