Album Notes

Davey Yarborough and Hilton Felton are musicians based in Washington, DC who have enjoyed performing together for more than 25 years.

Davey is a native of Washington, DC who graduated from The University of The District and Howard University. He is currently the chairman of instrumental music at The internationally recognized Duke Ellington School of the Arts in DC.
Davey is also the co-founder and artistic director of The Washington Jazz arts Institute. His music can be heard on several episodes of the Bill Cosby shows.
Davey has produced CDs for The Ellington school and is self produced rendering
this CD as well as "Its' Time For Love", (with Richard Seals on Drumsand Charles Covington on Hammond B-3 organ), Beautiful Fiendship"(with his wife vocalist Esther Williams) "NWJO 2000" and "Coming Together".with The New Washingtonians Jazz Orchestra. Davey Collaborated with Sir Roland Hanna for a tribute to Duke Ellington on "Royal Essence.
