Album Notes

Forevermore Records announces the release a brand new recording by Herb Gross & The Invictas of Rochester NY. Recorded live at the California Brew Haus in June of 2005 and complete with two new studio recordings. This is superb raw garage on the frat side! Wilder than most "garage" albums, high energy – complete with that nice dirty and raging raw guitar sound...with growling, yelping, echoey vocals – as the crowd goes wild and screams for more. The Invictas’ 'hit' is included here - "The Hump" - the dance for which they became infamous, and banned. Plus the new hit sensations “Big Caddy Hearse” (the band still travels in a vintage Cadillac hearse) and “Skip ‘N Go Naked” (tribute to a famous party drink and pastime of the sixties). Great artwork and photos, reminiscent of the fun had when our music was in on LPs. The release and group have been highlighted in September on NBC’s Today Show with Bob Dotson’s in An American Story, and with an appearance on Fox & Friends on the Fox News Network, plus an article in the USA Today! The Invictas’ frenzy is gathering steam! This cd is a must for party people everywhere!

Not Too Old Too Rock N' Roll!
author: Brian Mason
I found a copy of these guys original LP back in 1981 at a garage sale not too long after seeing them at a reunion concert in downtown Rochester, NY...with my curiousness abound...I bought this new cd hoping that it would still contain that Raw, Real, ROCK n' ROLL energy that is missing from today's so-called Rock Bands...simply stated...this cd is the real deal! These guys prove that they are not too old to Rock And Roll!!!! Somehow...someway...they get it across and it is truly authentic and very vintage-like with that certain teenage style angst...it is great and I highly recommnend it for other listeners and fans!
