Matt Ashman is the songwriter/producer behind Hiccup Truck. On the Midsummer EP, Matt played all the instruments and produced the disc from start to finish.

Matt grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and now lives Portland, Oregon. He claims influences such as the Beach Boys, Son Volt, Weezer, and Dinosaur Jr. and the results are evident on this sweet little sampler of catchy, emotionally charged tunes.
