Drawing from a lengthy friendship with the Smiths and the Connells, Hickey Necklace uses the real life sadness of Donnie Sadler's lyrical angst woven throughout the mellow musings of Chris Commanders "weepy pop" expressions. Got Used To Lonely weaves itself around familiar themes of love and loss, but expressed in the vivid detailed reality of one who has been there, and is still freshly wounded.

Perfection in a cd.

I completely agree about not being able to wear this out. I listen to it on the way to work and home, at the gym, lounging in the tub, and when hanging out with friends. I'm loving it.

After listening to a few songs on Myspace, I had to buy this CD. One of the best moves I've made when it comes to music. The CD really spoke to me and I am definitly buying any other CD's by the artist that are out or will come out.

Somehow I got lucky and the band Hickey Necklace found me on MySpace. I went to their page and was blown away by the music I heard there, and I just had to by the CD... I listen to it everywhere and have been forcing all of my friends to listen to it... and ya know what they are loving it too! This one is a must have for anyone who loves music!

SO MANY GREAT SONGS IN ONE PACKAGE!
author: Phyllis
I have never been happier with a music CD! Buying GOT USED TO LONELY was the best ten dollars ever spent. It is worth so much more! I can't seem to bring myself to take this out of my CD player. The songs all tell stories that can be related to in one way or another. The lyrics grab you, like a good novel, and make you feel part of the songs. The vocals and music are wonderfully unique, and stand out like the seasoned band that they are. Noone else sounds like this, and that makes this CD even more special. I would recommend this CD to anyone. To me it is a must have for my collection of great music.
