ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Stuck Between Stories EP starts off fast right out of the gate with the pop-punk track, "Consistency Runner." Featuring the dual vocals of Dan Chavez and Tim Markel, the EP opener shows the kind of strong dynamic that Hideouts has in store. Followed quickly by the song "Pulling Me Down," a track that showcases harmonized guitars, gang vocals, and a chorus filled with catchy vocal melodies. Lead single "Alleybyes" is a track ready for radio that showcases more of the bands ability to write catchy choruses, but also brings to light their pop sensibilities. Songs "Toasting Internalization" and "Halos" take Stuck Between Stories in a more aggressive direction with a modern rock appeal, but while still maintaining a pop-punk edge with vocal hooks that will be stuck in your head for days. The EP is closed out by the punk rock inspired track "Lightspeed Down." Fast driving drums and guitars kick off the song, which features the vocals of Hideouts guitarist Tim Markel. From start to finish, Stuck Between Stories delivers a little bit of everything, giving you pop vocals, aggressive guitars, and a driving rhythm section. Recommended if you like: Cartel, Hit The Lights, Jimmy Eat World, Paramore, Anberlin, Sleeping With Sirens, or Four Year Strong.
