Album Notes

This album features some of the finest pipers in Scotland: Gold medal winners - Angus MacColl, Gordon Walker and Stuart Sheddon. Special guest is pipe major John Spoore, formerly of the Gordon Highlanders and personal piper to the late Queen Mother.

In choosing the music for this collection the Master Pipers have aimed for typical examples of the various piping traditions. The 12 track selection includes favourites of royalty, martial airs, dance medleys, hornpipes, jigs as well as the more popular tunes.
