Album Notes

Hinkle is one of the most diverse Texas performers currently working in the Blues / Jazz idoms today.
Spending his early years with the likes of Marcia Ball, Doyle Bramhall Sr.,doing shows with Albert Collins ,John Lee Hooker Sr., Buddy Miles , Stephen Bruton , U.P. Wilson and Fort Worth Blues Legend Robert Ealy we are finally seeing this "new" Texas Talent rise up .
We at Blue Light Music are proud to present Hinkle 's latest cd Blues Now Jazz Later an offering of 13 original tunes with one cover East Dallas Dagger. This cd shows Hinkles musical influences and guitar playing at it's best.
We hope you will enjoy this musical journey through Funky Town aka Fort Worth.

Love the mixture of the Down-To-The-Core Blues with those songs that have an Elvisy and Sinatra-ish sound and twist to it. Meaningful words (eg. we all at one point in time felt like "tracking someone down"). Wonderfully done!
