TO CLEAR UP ANY CONFUSION:This is NOT a rock record!!! Before H is Orange was a full blown rock band, H is Orange was a simple concept and creative outlet stemming from the imagination of lead vocalist Sam Nelson. Over a period of one year(early 2000), a number of songs were written, recorded and copied onto numerous mix tapes and Cd's. After several months and alot of positive feedback, it was finally decided to compile all the tracks to make one definitive disc. That disc is "Telepathetic."
DESCRIPTION: H is orange solo project blends sample based rythms and melodic textures with organic instrumentation and poinant lyrics to create a highly unique and versatile sound. Similiar artists may include: Beck, Radiohead, Coldplay, Abandoned Pools, Bright Eyes, Lewis...but then again its not like any of them at all.
These are a collection of very personal songs that serve as a starting point for the evolution of a musical endeavour. I hope you enjoy the process.
Thanks for listening and for all your support
Much Respect
-Sam

Wow!

As much as I love Don't Trust the Easy, I love Telepathic even more! Sam can do no wrong musically-- there is something about his voice that draws you in and makes you want to hear it over and over again. The fact that he wrote all the songs & played all the instruments (except bass)and it is as good as it is, proves that this kid will have longevity in the music business for as long as he wants it. Every track is awesome! (especially tracks 5 & 8) I listen to this, Don't Trust the Easy and Little Plastic Pilots when I am driving, working out, getting ready for work -- I cannot get tired of it! Good job, Sam, good job!

Track two, moot runs through my head in the morning. that means it's now part of my dream play list. Wow, I sould really not write reviews when I have a ragin' hangover, but I think ya'll are catchin' my drift. I'm gonna buy my friend lucy a copy of this and maybe a copy for caca too. To me this album sounds like if, Beck (mostly from Odelay) and Silverchair (Diorama for a specific album sound on that) had a baby and it sounds lovely. I hope this makes sense.
