Album Notes

The band's next album, “The Effects of Anything”, released in 2000, is considered by many of their fans to be their best album to date, as well as a standout in terms of innovation and originality. The addition of Dan Woolley on percussion, mandolin and vocals proved to be the key to the sweetness on this album and brought a more musical and improvisational style to the songs. This album was released with rave reviews on the vocals for “Take Me to the Sweetest Emotion” performed by Melanie Casper. Deep driven vocals and down and out living is truly expressed in this masterpiece. The train rumbling beats driven’ by drummer Lee Clarke show the true emotion of the band during this time. Casper didn’t ignore his blues background with the track, “Layin’ on a Ladies Leg”. Ballads such as “Faded Skirts” and “Flat Rock Road” mirror the true sound and warmth of the band. The sound of the band molded during the recording of “The Effects of Anything” and was a prelude to next step in their recording style. "The Effects of Anything" is the groups most successful album to date.

A must have for all music collectors!
