notes

This CD is dedicated to the memory of the late great Arkansas Fats who was a Down With It Blues Singer, but didn't record during his time, however he was very helpful in building my studio and encouraging me to complete this musical work. He approved of most of these tracks.

I am very grateful to Bobby Wardlaw's support in getting this work going.

I would like to thank Larry Johnson, his friends, and his band (Eric Ward on bass, and Al White on piano) for supporting me each time I went to LA to record.

By the way that is larry's guitar solo on Big Boss Man", what a player! Thanks to Atsuko Oura for helping me get through a very difficult time, so that I could present this work to you.

I will personally have you know that Harold Benett (From "Cookie And The Cup-Cakes") is not a ghost, he is playing flute and alto sax though out these tracks, and it is a great honor to have him play on my record.

My Highest appreciation goes to brother Lermon Horton for finding time to put his drums in his car and driving out to Holly Wood to help po' Hi Tide out of a jam.

A big thank you to my favorite engineer David Bloom.

Thanks to Allen Watson for his macnifisent sequencing on "Any Day Now", and to Bobby Watson for stopping by Eve Studio while passing through on a gig in Osaka to lay down some real bass on to the sequenced recording.

My most sincere gratitude goes to Toshiya Shibata for lending his engineering expertise to this project.

Last but not least I would like to Thank those cumputer geniuses (Takayuki Iino, and Shizuko Kusunoki).

Under the supervision of Chisato Funasaka) at Media Art in Yokohama for helping me with my graphic.

If it weren't for the internet and all of it's web people, I wouldn't be doing such a crazy thing as making an independent record so thank you too.

It takes love and money to do this kind of work with out a record company, and I want to thank all of the people who helped me in one way or another on this project, and I hope YOU can dig this effort, it is the best I can do for now.

As Jimmy McCracklin use to say before he would perform, Thank You For Buying This Record! Now Jump in the groove and GO! -- And I'll cache you at the turn around.

Hi Tide Harris.
