Hannah MacDonald, 20 (Bellingham, MA) grew up performing at the Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre of Woonsocket. Her first appearance on the Stadium Theatre stage was in Cinderella presented by The Encore Repertory Company in 2001 at the age of ten. After performing numerous other Stadium Theatre performances in her early teen years Hannah expanded her Community Theatre experience performing locally in such roles as Mary in Jesus Christ Superstar, Puck in A Midsummer Nights Dream, and Rusty in Footloose. She recently made her professional musical theater debut in The Stoneham Theater's production of 42nd Street where she was also honored to become an Equity Membership Candidate. She spent this past summer working in Fairfield Iowa at the Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts where she was seen in Jesus Christ Superstar, A Time Out of Rhyme, and Hairspray in which she played Penny. Today Hannah has recently moved to Brooklyn to pursue her passion for the arts on Broadway.
Derek Doura, 31 (Providence, RI), is a classically trained pianist and songwriter. He too has been involved with the Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre in a variety of aspects. He was the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer for several years and continues as Musical Director for a the local Community Theatre organizations including The Encore Repertory Company and Rhode Island Stage Ensemble which continue to perform at the Stadium Theatre. Music has been a continuing passion in all aspects of his life including theatre, church, and teaching. Privately he writes and composes his own work with a goal to be a published songwriter. Open To Interpretation is the first professionally mastered album of his work.
