Hey Now, Morris Fader is a band of two. Brooks Milgate plays piano
and hammond B3, while Alex Sacco plays drums. Both contribute
vocally. The two originally began as a throw together band for one
gig at Bill\'s Bar in Boston. That gig never ended up happening but
Milgate and Sacco continued making their racket and writing their
songs. Irreverant and sarcastic, Hey Now, Morris Fader writes about
the ups and downs of life while capturing the audience with dynamic
and hook-laden sing along choruses. The band released their first
record \"Bang The Bass, Turn Up The Treble\" in 2007 and followed it up
with their second record, recorded at New Alliance in Boston with Jon
Taft. The second record, Ride the Fader is available now.
\"their influences and musical chops shine bright, from the pianos of
Ben Folds Five to the vocals of a younger Dave Grohl of the Foo
Fighters. And while tipping their hats to these greats, HN, MF is
creating a sound that is unmistakably their own\" - Andrew Bersch,
Pulse Magazine, August 2007
\"The two-man piano/drum combo cuts across the territory well-trampled by the likes of Ben Folds Five, and comes up with a sound that’s thoroughly modern and not particularly derivative. Songs such as “All I’ve Got” and “Etc. Etc.” sell the heartbreak through shear earnestness\" - Victor D. Infante, Worcester Telegram and Gazette, August 2008
\"With Milgate holding down bass lines on his keys and Sacco filling the spaces with maniacal, Dave-Grohl-like verve, Hey Now Morris Fader has plenty to offer….\" - Scott McLennan, Worcester Telegram and Gazette, June 2007
