Album Notes

The folk revival that began in the 1950s brought new attention to the traditional music of American and Celtic cultures. It also shone a bright light on their shared history and unmistakable similarities. Musical influences have crossed the Atlantic in both directions ever since, resulting in a lush mix of contemporary and traditional sounds.

Hobnail has been performing this music in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area since 2006. In this band, Jeff Morgan, Buddy Osthaus, Patrick Clifford, Peter Kane, and Randy Decker bring together a wealth of experience performing in venues and festivals around the U.S. and recording multiple albums.

With voices, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and traditional Irish instruments, Hobnail creates not just the sounds of a rich musical heritage, but also loads of fun for the whole family.
