\"wasser:weg\"
improvisations in munich´s sewage system
In 2005 Tobi Hofmann and his 2kiloherz-team released the cd \"inside\"(Rodenstein Records ROD27),
a multicoloured piece of improvised music recorded in a discharged nuclear reactor.
For the new cd \"wasser:weg\" (an ambiguous german wordplay:\"water:way\"as well as \"water:away\") they went in two very special rooms: a huge reservoir for rainwater and a new-build digestion tower in Munich/Germany, both providing a sensational acoustic situation with reverb times up to 30 seconds. Tobi Hofmann and Ulrich Wangenheim play simple solo & duo-improvisations, plane and sometimes meditational pieces, that make the listener feel the speciality of these places. Something very special!
