Album Notes

There are a lot of churches in Bavaria/Germany. However the "Basilika St. Michael" in Altenstadt is something special and a very rare document of late romanic architecture. Inspired by the beautiful interior we improvised and recorded music, dealing with the particular acoustic situation. The CD contains simple outlines, meditative miniatures, calm and contemplative music, that invites the listener to pause for a moment and experience the speciality of this place.
