Album Notes

Gerrit Hofsink grew up in Europe, spent years in South-Africa and then settled in Canada. Playing piano at an early age, music has always been a very important part of his life. The song "Still" is the story of his grandson who was stillborn, as experienced by his daughter. It was music that helped him heal. He wrote "Still" as much for himself and his family, as for other families, as a ray of hope in a dark time.
