Ho-hum : Landau Zeal

A dynamic and surprising mix of older school new wave, new school indie folk and an unprecedented blend of pop bridging them in the middle. It's the sort of sound you would expect out of the UK; poetic, lush and incredibly catchy.

Album Notes

Even summer time's cold
Hands are strange to hold
If you're tired and cold
Dawn we gray apparel
Blue skies say's the weather
Chip away the stone

Take it home

Scarborough on your fists
My burro on your lips
Write a carnival of hits
Greatest hits on your tits
Forty acres and mule
Please…

Take it home

Fantastic

Ho-Hum's been everywhere. With their failed major label release, these boys from Arkansas have been putting out fantastic stuff for years on their own label that make the major label project look like a bad britney spears album. Landau Zeal is no exception - excellent pop hooks and fantastic songwriting by the Brothers Bryan and Co. have lead to another great release by a great band.
