This truly unique CD is called The Holidays At Home – A Compilation of Women Singer-Songwriters to Benefit Children International. It features all original Christmas and Holiday songs by sixteen top independent women artists from around the United States.

Musically, the styles range from pop to folk to rock to jazz to Americana. The album is anchored by award winning and noteworthy singers such as Susan Greenbaum, Kerry Getz, Mare Wakefield, Nadine Goellner, Anika Paris, and Kellee Bradley. It also features a beautiful piano instrumental by singer-songwriter Anna Dagmar.

Because these songs are all original songs written by the artists, this compilation is a refreshing change from the Holiday tunes that are heard over and over during the Christmas Season.

One hundred percent of the sales of this compilation go to Children International, a nonprofit organization with its headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. Children International’s programs benefit over 322,000 children and their families in 11 countries around the world, including Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Mexico, the Philippines, Zambia and the United States.

The first album, Home, was awarded Best Compilation Album in 2006 by Just Plain Folks. Its follow up was Back Home, a double CD, with 34 women artists. A fourth compilation, Take Me Home, includes singers such as Lucy Kaplansky, Amy Fairchild, Martha Byrne, and Natalia Zukerman.
