Hollis songs are variously reminiscent of Big Star, Pavement and early Neil Young.
Hollis was a collaborative affair between Dallas-based solo artist Deck Sachse and multi-talented Tulsa songwriter Scott Griffith. In 2002, Hollis opened for the likes of national recording artists TRANS AM and the Cowboy Junkies and played dates across the Southwest.
Their brief but rewarding time working together produced this little acoustic-flavored gem.
