Instead of talking about the song specifically, I'd
like to just write a bit about how the making of this
song came about......
I've been a fan of Bread's beautiful music since I was a
very little girl; especially James Griffin. Actually, I
don't ever remember not knowing Bread songs.
I've been dancing and singing ever since I was 3 years old.
I don't ever remember not loving to sing and dance.
One day a friend of mine and I were discussing our dreams
for our music. We both remarked how much it would mean
to us and how proud we would feel if one day we could
meet and work with our childhood musical heros.
Well, about four years after we had that conversation,
through an AMAZING set of coincidences, my dream came
true. Not only did I meet and work with James Griffin,
but we became good friends as well.
Unfortunately, and heartbreakingly so, there isn't a
happy ending to this dream come true. James passed away
January 11th of 2005 due to lung cancer.
Thank you James for recording your Oscar winning song
with me, and making my dream come true. Most important
of all, thank you for being so kind to me and for just
being wonderful you. I'll miss you and love you always!

Soft, soulful and touching........
author: Jeffrey Gellenthin
I have listened to this song over and over. Each time, having the inescapable feeling that only a beautiful song can produce. Knowing the history of this song adds to this perfect combination of Heaven sent voices. Soft, soulful and touching. James and Holly are wonderful together. From the first piano chord, right through to the faded finish, this is how the song was meant to be heard.

Possibly the most sensitive and moving duet ever recorded
author: Stuart Wood
Two very different voices but the blend is perfect. You'd think Holly and James had been singing together for many years. Great lyrics, beautiful melody .....There is so much love coming from this duet.... sensitive, sensual and very moving.
