This CD is a short impressive display of sound composition

Well, Hail the Frozen North is a tasty appetizer but clocking in around 15 minutes is hardly filling. In this time Hollydrift show they are certainly adapt at creating interesting moods and atmospheres. I certainly appreciate the lack of screeching and pounding, although the spoken word/voice gave a fairly serious tone. The last part of 'Buried by the Briar' is quite transfixing I could have listened to it for hours. I look forward to hearing more in the future.
