With Unceasing Voice is the first CD release of The Parish Choir of the Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross in Medford, New Jersey. The custom arrangements, which weave all of the varied traditions of Orthodoxy, combined with the traditional music of the Divine Liturgy, enable our church to realize its core mission to exemplify a parish of inclusive American Orthodoxy. Our parish choir is comprised of members of our church ranging in ages from childhood to well into the senior years. Their hard work and dedication to the singing of the Liturgy is evident to all visitors coming to our parish, who often comment on the spiritual beauty it brings to the service. For over 25 years, the choir of the Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross has been directed by Josef Gulka. The music pieces included on our CD were specifically written for use in the Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross in Medford, NJ to reflect our unique expression of Eastern Orthodox Worship. Our community is comprised of people from various traditionally orthodox cultural backgrounds as well as converts to orthodoxy. The original arrangements you will hear on our CD were written by Josef Gulka to express the diversity and richness we share as a dynamic and growing parish.
