Album Notes

Along with AFI, Tiger Army and Love Equals Death, Holy Rolemodel originated in the musical hotbed of Ukiah, California. Currently residing in Petaluma, home of the legendary Phoenix Theater, Holy Rolemodel is perfecting their brand of melodic punk rock. Influenced by their Ukiah peers, as well as bands like Rise Against, Bayside, Bad Religion, and Against Me!, these boys have a brand new take on punk rock.
After self-releasing their first full length album in 2006, Holy Rolemodel embarked on their first US tour, covering California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Nevada. 2007 brought a brand new supporting line-up and work on a second full-length album featuring guest appearances from Chon Travis of Love Equals Death (Fat Records) and Scott Llamas of Deflator Mouse (Popsmear Records), to be released on Circle Game Records August 2008.
Holy Rolemodel has played with Streetlight Manifesto, Whole Wheat Bread, Angry Amputees, The Ballistics, Adolescents, La Plebe, Cold Hot Crash, In Love and War, The Bodies, Re:Ignition, Cobra Skulls and many more local and regional acts. In Holy Rolemodel’s live show, this four piece brings a driving yet dynamic intensity, with each band member singing their hearts out while executing musical acrobatics on their instruments.
Collectively, Holy Rolemodel has played over 1200 shows and performed on national television and syndicated radio. Considering the attention paid to their 2006 record and the buzz surrounding the upcoming release, Holy Rolemodel is truly setting the bar for this generation of rock.
