Album Notes

Homeland Security is a new, wildy original group from San Francisco, California. The band was formed in the wake of Septeber 11th, 2001, to create a musical reaction to recent world events.

It brings together two successful local artists: Jeff Gutman and Jesse Hearns-Branaman, both from different genres. Jeff Gutman (www.mp3.com/jeffgutman) is a local acoustic songwriter and producer with three albums available in stores. He yas years of experience touring and playing in local clubs. Jesse is a producer, mixer and DJ who also makes experimental electronic music under the name Blue Third World (bluethirdworld.iuma.com).

The two artists have brought their talents together to create "Homeland Seurity," an instrumental collection with a diverse and eclectic combination of styles. The songs bring together elements of rock, techno, classical, traditional Jewish and Chinese music, heavy metal, acid, reggae and country, in different combinations and ususally all together at the same time.
