David Honigsberg has been playing guitar and writing songs longer than he cares to admit, but if you press him, he’ll confess all. He has performed on stages from coast to coast, including New York, Boston, Atlanta, Anaheim, and Seattle, and recently opened for Eminent Records recording artist Rosie Flores as part of WDVR-FM’s acclaimed “The Loft @ Studio D” concert series. As a founding member of the country/blues/rock band the Don’t Quit Your Day Job Players, he penned crowd favorites “Brown-Haired Woman” and “When the Magic Goes Away,” among others, and is constantly at work on new songs.
An accomplished rhythm and lead guitarist, his Clapton-inspired leads can be found on numerous songs on his current release, The Pattern, including “Move Down that Highway” and “Waiting for You.” He performs on a Sigma thin-line acoustic electric, a Takamine 12-string, a Guild solid body S300-D, and a Guild Starfire III archtop.
When not hard at work on his music, David also writes prose. His short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies, including Elric: Tales of the White Wolf, The Ultimate Silver Surfer, On Crusade: More Tales of the Knights Templar, and Bruce Coville’s UFOs. In addition he has also written a number of role-playing supplements for Atlas Games and for Hero Games, most notably Ars Magica Kabbalah.

Good music + interesting voice + inspiring lyrics!
author: Katharina, Germany
I like this CD more and more each time I listen to it.
But I loved the beginning of the first song on the album right from start, it won me over when I first listened to the album online.
It's hard to say exactly what made me buy the CD... I was hooked by David Honigsberg's voice, because it sounds very interesting and unusual to me.
The reasons why I love the album are:
- the brilliant lyrics (I always care a lot about the lyrics of the songs I listen to and David Honigberg's lyrics are very good; I especially love The Pattern, it's such an inspiring song!)
- the guitar solos (I love any kind of solo during a song, no matter which instrument, I think it's the solo that makes a song special),
- the many different facets his voice can have, from deep and angry to high and happy,
- and the fact that the up-beat songs make my smile and dance when I listen to them. :)
My favorite songs: Reckless In Texas, The Pattern, Move Down That Highway.
