Rick Woodward and Rick Seale have been playing and writing music together for twelve years. From their home base in Central Louisiana comes a great mix of original acoustic songs that show their combined multi-faceted musical influences. From Delta Blues to R&B and from Celtic to Contemporary Folk, the Hoodoo Papas play with drive and soul.
Rick Woodward: "I feel the whole concept of the Hoodoo Papas is summed up in the idea of 'acoustic gumbo' as a musical genre. I guess you could say the Hoodoo Papas is about creating a feeling of fun without losing the realities of life."
Rick Seale: "The Hoodoo Papas represents a unique chance to witness the interplay between good musicians using a great medium of expression - the acoustic guitar. This CD is a must have if you want the perfect summer night party. A cajun BBQ, good friends, whimsical lighting and MOJO HAT is all I need to bring a little South to my Colorado Mountain evening. Get it before July 4th. You won't be sorry!

Bought this CD at one of their live shows and was TOTALLY surprised! Great stage show, great sound, great guys. Really knew how to work the crowd. The CD is super! What I like about it is what you hear on the CD is what you hear live. If you don't have this CD - GET IT! You won't be sorry!
