HOONOSE are essentially a two piece, but often a three piece and sometimes a seven piece band, ensemble, variety act who like to do things abit different and aren't really bothered about the consequences.
We like to sing about debt, monsters, depression, enormous crocodiles, world peace and trees growing. We'd like to live in a better world / time but have to be content with this pile of faeces that we live in now. We don't like the super rich and we don't like the fact that some people starve to death.
We think the world will end (as we know it) pretty soon and want to float like leaves on the river of life.
We tread carefully in some areas and stomp our feet in others.
We are shrewd schizophrenic fightened giants who walk elevated from the surface of the earth and many leagues below the sea.
We are contemporary and old school, nice and nasty, friendly and aloof, good and bad, cheese and pickle.
We make music that WE like to listen to, we sometimes create music that doesn't fit into pigeon holes and we like this the best.
We create rock tunes that urge you to sing along at the top your voice and feel the incredible energy from opening your lungs.
We construct songs that make your body move involuntary to the music.
We thread together emotional epiphanies to help you realise that the journey is still taking place whether you're physically moving or not.
We're the band that you've always wanted to hear since the day you realised that the human race had taken a wrong turn a LONG time ago but everyone was too scared and frightened to say anything.
We are the saviours of the world and the victims of it at the same time.
We are just like you really.
The end.

I've enjoyed listening to Waters Deep and currently have four cuts from it playing on my iPod (and believe me, the competition there is vicious--even though I've got a 60gig player, I maxed out its capacity long ago). I have a large and eclectic home music library, in part because I always believe in buying artists' albums in order to support their music-making efforts. Best of luck to you.

Brilliant.

Brilliant. Every track is great, although in my opinion it would have been better to finish the album with 'disguise', without the last three songs (mainly instrumental), which are not needed. Great stuff, buy it!
