Album Notes

Like a gunshot in the face, Odeum Recordings is proud to assault the punk/hardcore scene with a four song CDep from Portland Oregon's, The Horde. Recruiting villains from previous bands The Firing Line, Backside Disaster and The 6-Minute Heartstop, these trouble-makers dissect the violence of late 70's and early 80's punk, oi and hardcore scenes to assemble a hideous, terror-inducing soundtrack of brass knuckle rock and roll.

Waving the flag of solidarity, The Horde will continue to march through the streets and towns of America... leaving a gang of united misfits, hooligans and outcasts in their destructive path. Out January 15/03.

Hailing from Portland, OR, The Horde is the kick in the pants you're looking for- and then some. For hardcore punk fans looking for another aural assault in the vein of The Misfits or Sick of It All, these "trouble-makers dissect the violence of the late 70's and early 80's punk, oi and hardcore scenes to assemble a hideous, terror-inducing soundtrack of brass knuckle rock n roll."

This album is like a blitzkreig of influences all chopped up and put in one CD- i think sound-wise it could best be compared to the Nerve Agents and the Unseen. Very fast, no thrills/frills, but an astounding adrenaline rush. Each song is a fist pumping anthem sure to raze the house/car/apartment. If you like punk or hardcore, especially the Boston sound, do not pass this album up- it's worth every penny!
