Horizon was formed by Los Angeles based Kfir Melamed, best known for his eccentric bass playing and composing talent. Horizon is a colossal band creating a blend of cinematic music fused with classical, world, jazz and celtic sounds, amongst other elements.
The core of Horizon is essentially a world music band fronted by classically trained Aletta Mannix, featuring Globus’ Yoav Goren on piano, Loreena McKinnett’s drummer Tal Bergman and Cirque Du Soleil cellist Tina Guo along with many other noted musicians.
Horizon released the powerful album ‘When Spirit Meets Earth’ in January 2013. All music is composed & produced by Kfir Melamed.
