Painted Heart Music is proud to present this introspective and revealing music....

"Joani is my cousin but being eight years younger, I always thought of her as a little girl. But little girls have a way of growing up, as my wife and I discovered when Joani invited us to hear her sing a solo near the end of her Senior year in High School. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. She possessed both poise and a soulfulness that immediately captivated us. That summer the three of us, Lori, Joani, and I, began a fruitful musical collaboration. By early fall, all of the songs on this CD had been composed, with the exception of ANGELA'S SONG, which was written several years later at the birth of Lori's and my daughter, Angela.

"I have composed or co-composed well over 50 songs and have done my best on all of them. But the songs on this CD possess an emotional honesty and intensity that I feel make this album particularly haunting.
