Album Notes

Hosty returns to the Mousetrap Studio in Norman, Oklahoma with a collection of roots rock songs in his One Man Band form where he plays guitar, drums and sings at the same time as well as the regional rock format of the Hosty Duo where Hosty teams up with drummer Michael Byars. In the Duo Hosty kicks bass with his feet and plays guitar while singing a true circus act indeed.
Hosty has penned the most popular song on Texas Music radio "Oklahoma Breakdown" as recorded by Stoney LaRue on his Live at Billy Bob's CD. The song was number one for five weeks.
"I hope you have as much fun listening to this album As I had making it," says Hosty whose dry sense of humor is a staple of his live act.
Hosty isn't Indie Rock, he is Autonomous Rock, a term he has coined to describe his sound meaning "doing it all himself" marketing, recording, to playing every instrument at the same time! If your ever in Oklahoma, stop on by and see him rock the roadhouse with his unique brand of Hybrid Guitar picking, kicking bass with his feet, or playing the drums, guitar and sing.
