We are a group of musicians that want to bring something new, something fresh to World Fusion Music. We don't just put on concerts, we bring people on a journey through music, culture and dance.
The Hot Blood Orkestar started in Oakland 2008 playing on the streets, small restaurants, events, private parties and venues trying to get our music out and making it gig by gig. Due to location differences in 2009 the group disbanded for 3 years in that time working with other great players, writing and learning new material until 2012 when the group reformed in the Bay Area. Since they got back together the word has been out and the shows have been sold out. Hot Blood is Back!!!
A band made up of artists with many different backgrounds, Hot Blood Orkestar is a true fusion group. With a primary base of Eastern European, Balkan and Rom music, each band member brings their own flavor. The group is bigger better and hotter than ever!
