First, the Earth cooled. Then the dinosaurs came. Eventually a sound not unlike a trainload of screaming cats on fire was heard, and there was much rejoicing! Hot Buttered Elvis had finally appeared at a Rock and Roll club near you!
"Dinner And A Monkey" is Hot Buttered Elvis' debut recording and was recorded w/ engineer Harry Evans at Cue Studios in Falls Church, VA.
Fun, fast, and furious! Think Green Day meets Alice In Chains meets Spinal Tap. Very versatile stylistically, from hard rock to punk to pop to heavy alternative, with a heavier dose of fun!
Hot Buttered Elvis is fronted by Washington Area Music Assoc (WAMA) Wammie award winning vocalist/guitarist Scott Barber (Best Male Hard Rock Vocalist) and "Dinner And A Monkey" features a supporting cast of distinguished regional and national performers: guitarist Paul Gonzalez (formerly of the national act Meat Men), drummer Rob San Pietro (ex-Meat Men), and bass player Dave Daniels (ex-Shag Nasty).
The current Hot Buttered Elvis lineup features "JC"on guitar (ex-American Giant) and Shawn Sharifi on bass. For show schedule and additional info on Hot Buttered Elvis visit the Official HBE Website: www.hotbutteredelvis.com

Best $10 I ever spent! Locked and loaded, these guys let 'er rip from the word go. The "Goodbye Norma Jean" cover was great, and the "Tainted Love" cover was wicked!!! These guys rock. Period. :D

I'm a harsh critic but I really can't say much bad about this CD. If these guys are not signed, they should be.

I LIKE IT A LOT...

Dinner and a Monkey is a fresh blend of metal and pop-punk. I would describe them as a heavy Blink 182. Their originals are diverse and well crafted and their covers are off the hizzle. They are a great live band too!!!
